Free to those age 60-plus. This program is a national, evidence-based community exercise and nutrition program targeted for midlife and older women. The program assists women with maintaining muscle mass, strength and function. The movements are simple, continuous, and rhythmic. It can be modified for those with mobility difficulties. DIABETES EDUCATION Group classes and individual appointments are available with our diabetes nurses and clinical dietitians. Free support groups are held occasionally throughout the year. LIVING WELL WITH CHRONIC CONDITIONS  Tuesdays, June 11, July 16, 5 to 7:30 p.m. CMH Columbia Center (Chinook Room), 2021 Marine Drive, Astoria Free This six-week evidence-based workshop is for anyone living with cancer, diabetes, fibromyalgia, arthritis and any other chronic condition. This workshop provides the tools, skills and support needed to make lasting lifestyle and behavior changes. There will be dedicated time within the class for your nutrition-related questions. Enjoy a demo and sampling of smoothies, shakes, or soups selected by Grace. This class is open to those interested in the benefits of nutrition in cancer prevention, treatment, and survivorship. Attend one or attend them all; drop-in, no registration needed. This group is a safe place to explore the challenges you face as you journey on your unique path of grief.
